18 year old Omar Santiago, attended the Larry and Joanna Williamson’s wedding reception at the West Sayville Country Club late Saturday night and managed to sneak away with a white box containing gifts of money for the couple.
The bride was alert, when Santiago ran to the bathroom and he stuffed the envelopes into this shirt and pants and attempted to make a run for it.
Wedding guest managed to catch in and retrain him till police arrived on the scene.
Luckily all the gift was recovered. he will be charged with fourth-degree grand larceny.
